Snowy Owls, Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge. November, 2008. Snowy Owl's are found in the Far North, however when their favorite food, the lemming, an artic rodent, has declines in population, they travel further south for food, such as rodents and other animals. Snowy's have brilliant yellow eyes set in a round white face. Black bars and spots, mostly on females and juveniles.
